What’s all the fuss about content curation?

In edition 107 of the Trafcom News Podcast, we explore what curation is, how individuals and brands can use it, which tools make it easy, and how to get started. Much of the information in this discussion originated with presentations I did this month to the IABC Western Region conference in Whistler, British Columbia, and the IABC/Toronto west end group.

From the Silver Leaf awards gala with its Star Wars theme to the rollicking closing session by Steve Crescenzo, the IABC Western Region conference in Whistler, B.C. was a blast. I regret not getting to every session because of client commitments, but I learned something from each talk I attended.

Since the topic I spoke on was content curation, I think it's fitting to capture some highlights of the conference with a curation tool, Storify. Here goes:
