I know what you mean .. a couple of weeks ago, I received an invitation to an art opening, along with a personal note from the artist. Had I received an invite online, I might not have gone. But because she took the trouble to do a lovely invitation, write to me and spend the money on a stamp, I went. (The artist, by the way, was Laura Hollick, from www.soulartstudio.com. She has an amazingly beautiful show at the Carnegie Gallery in Dundas Ontario.)

I too, like to send & receive notes on lovely cards. It's a treat that's out of proportion to the small effort involved!
