Have you missed me? I've been buried under work, much like the black walnuts covered by leaves on my lawn. But I did want to take a break to tell you about a few upcoming events you might care about, especially if you're in or near Toronto:
ProductCamp Toronto, a newcomer on the scene, is a collaborative unconference about product marketing and management. It's happening November 2, 2008 at the Ted Rogers School of Business Management, Ryerson University.
Mark your calendar for Talk is Cheap 2.0 at Centennial College's Centre for Creative Communications on November 12, 2008. Last year this was a nice little conference that brought together PR pros and students to talk about social media.
Podcamp Toronto is back! This is a great opportunity for new and seasoned podcasters alike to meet and share tips: February 21 and 22, 2009 at the Rogers Communications Centre at Ryerson University.
I'll also plug my own upcoming Webinar: How to use new media tools to make the most of your event. This online seminar answers your questions about conference podcasting and is designed for people who organize not only big conferences, but all-employee meetings, sales meetings and customer events too. If you want to attend this 45-minute session on October 21, 2008 at 2 p.m. Eastern time, send an email to donna AT trafcom DOT com and I'll forward the login info.
OK, back to work!
UPDATE: Check the comments for additions. And Tamera Kremer suggests that we add SusCamp to the list too.
