The podcast: Everything I know about podcasting I learned in kindergarten

In this 11-minute podcast, I discuss how the basics of podcasting can be compared to the stuff we learn when we're five years old. Plus, a look at a real-life podcast for a non-profit organization (GROW). Hop on over to the Trafcom News Podcast page to download the show or subscribe to the feed.

I loved the podcast. Well done. Lots of great tips and techniques. It'll be going in my "how-to" file!

David, thanks! I'm glad you like it.
So when can I hear your podcast? ;-)))

Funny you should ask...I've been looking into the gear we'll need all afternoon. Terry Fallis (my boss) is starting one and I'm trying to figure out the best rig for interviewing in the field.

Well, I like the Edirol R-1, but I see that Edirol has just come out with a newer model, which is smaller and I believe less expensive.

The R-1 has a very good built-in stereo mic, but I've bought a Shure mic to hook into it for those times when I want to get up close and personal.
