Ideas to jump-start your blog
If you’re a regular subscriber, you’ll notice a dearth of posts from me this week. That’s because I’ve been swamped with interviews, meetings, deadlines and writing, writing, writing. Plus, I just didn’t feel compelled to contribute any thoughts to the blogosphere.
Sometimes, however, you may find yourself in a blogging mood, yet devoid of inspiration. Enter Andrea Weckerle of the New Millennium PR Blog and her 35 1/2 Ideas for your Blog Post. She includes:
Comment on a current event (Accentuate the Positive, 2.0)
Participate in a silly meme ( POP! PR Jots)
Conduct an interview ( Beyond Madison Avenue)
Write about celebrities (Media Orchard)
Write about pseudo-celebrities ( The Flack)
Ask for ideas from readers ( Micro Persuasion)
Become part of a "search engine test" (Scobleizer)
Show pride in something (Lee's New Better Communications Results blog)
(By the way, Idea No. 35 1/2 is to not blog that day.)
What I love about Andrea’s post is not just its creativity, but its links to a wealth of blogs I hadn’t heard of.
Hmm. I see a problem here. Might I be adding more feeds to my aggregator? If so, I’ll have only Andrea to blame.;-))

Donna, my list of feeds keeps on getting longer too!

Andrea and I cracked the code on the other "half" an idea, for an even 36:
Comment on other blogs instead.
